About the Product: Secret SEO Code teaches long term, whitehat SEO strategies and techniques. It was written with the beginning in mind, in that it's written in a "read and implement" fashion. This means, if the reader applies the techniques, they should see results. Results mean a lower refund rate for both you and I, which is always a good thing.

Keywords:

Note: the majority of the above are broad keywords. I encourage you to dig a little deeper and find some long tail keywords. Here are a couple free keyword tools to help with your research:

If your budget is a little more flexible, I recommend using Keyword Elite and/or spying on the competition with PPC Bully.

Some tips:

1 – Avoid using one network for all of your PPC efforts – diversify. While Google's AdWords will likely offer more traffic, in some cases Yahoo Search Marketing or even Microsoft's adCenter will yield more profit. Consider using the following networks:

a) Google AdWords
b) Microsoft adCenter
c) Yahoo Search Marketing
d) AdBrite

Those are the only four I'd personally consider. You could add Facebook to that list but the traffic isn't as targeted and from my personal tests it doesn't convert very well.

2 – Consider the content network. The content network is still a very under-utilized pay-per-click strategy; this means cheaper/more clicks for you!

3 - If your budget is on the low side I'd recommend sticking to Microsoft adCenter, Yahoo Search Marketing and/or Google's Content Network in the beginning. Once you start making profit I'd reinvest it and shift my primary focus to Google AdWords… don't just shut off the already-profitable campaigns though! Let them continue to run while you focus on AdWords.

4 – Remember to split test your ad copy. Don't forget, the point of ad copy is to get the click; the actually (pre)selling is done after the click.

Remember, your job as the affiliate is to pre-sell the prospect. You don't do any actual selling; that's what the Secret SEO Code's sales copy is for!

Here are some tips to get you started:

1 – If you're going to talk about the product, be subtle. You don't want to sound like a pitchy car salesman! Spark their interest, maybe crush their potential objections and get the click; that's all there is to it!

2 – Make sure you capture leads (e-mail address and possibly their name)! This allows you to continuously send promotions to your prospects for as long as they stay on that mailing list. This is the foundation to building a sustainable affiliate marketing business!

When capturing leads, try to be somewhat subtle about it; again, no one likes a pitchy car salesman. To capture the leads you could offer your personal results with the product, a free report, a newsletter, etc.

3 – Try to make your website look "disconnected" and different from this one, especially if you're giving your review of the product. This way you won't raise any suspicions of being affiliated with the product. If people sense that you have a vested interest then they may not buy through your link (ie: they'll go and look for more reviews, etc.).

4 – When placing your affiliate link(s) on the page, avoid making it look "hype-ish" or "pitchy". For example, don't say "CLICK HERE TO ORDER NOW!"… simply say something like "More information…" or "Click here to go to the official Secret SEO Code website.". See the difference?

5 – If you can, add some personal touches to the website. Maybe a photo, a link to your Twitter or Facebook account, etc. Getting personal is always a good thing – it adds a touch of trust and credibility.

6 – The higher your quality score is imperative for Google Adwords.  I recommend having a landing page with a Contacts page, Privacy Notice page, Articles page, Resources page, and a Sitemap at a minimum.  If you really want to be aggressive add a testimonial page, F.A.Q. page, and whatever else you can think of to increase your quality score and relevancy.

If you're in the early stages of your affiliate marketing career, here are some guides and tools I've found helpful in my personal success:

Commission Blueprint
This is my highest recommendation for anyone to learn how to profit in affiliate marketing.  These guys have recorded videos that are amazing to learn from and the resources are top-notch!

Secret Affiliate Code 2
This product takes you by the hand and shows you step-by-step how to set up profitable affiliate campaigns. This course can take you from a beginner to an advanced affiliate marketer... if you let it.

PPC Bully
As the title suggestions, this is a PPC-based product; it's actually a membership. It allows you to spy on your competition which takes the guesswork out of setting up a profitable PPC campaign. You simply monitor the competition bidding on keywords you're interested in, see which ads/websites are consistently profitable and then create your own similar campaign.

Keyword Elite
If you're doing PPC or SEO this tool is a must-have in my opinion. Keyword Elite will, among other things, generate massive lists of keywords for you to target... personally that's all I use it for but it has some other options as well.

Xtreme Conversions
This is a super cool script that you install on your server that'll let you track, ugh, pretty much everything you'll need to. I don't want to bloat the affiliate page with a list of what it can track so click the link above if you're interested.

How much is your top affiliate currently earning?
Sorry, I'd like to keep this information private.

What is the conversion rate?
Several other associates and I have been split testing many different domains, PPC campaigns, and Landing pages.  Our average conversions have been 1/30 but the ranges were 1/15 to 1/60.

What are some top-converting keywords?
Rather than give these out, I'd also like to keep this information private so their CPC doesn't explode through the roof. I recommend taking the keyword list above and expanding on it to find tighter long tail keywords.

What country are most of the sales coming from?
The best converting countries so far:  US, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, and India.

I'm kind of new at this - do you offer any sort of affiliate support?
Absolutely! I try to respond to all e-mails as soon as possible - if you make money I make money!

I'm interested in a joint venture! How do we set this up?
E-mail me as much information about the JV as possible! I'll make my decision based on what you're offering.
